Wow I really have lost site with keeping up with this thing. It seems like forever and so much has happened. At the beginning of this month Rob (My pastor) challenged the church to devoted an hour a day for our quiet time (reading the bible and praying) for the month of July. It was really hard to make yourself allot for that time, but once I did it I felt good. That was something that I had been struggling with for the longest time and now I feel that I have a better handle on it. Every morning that is how I start my day, I find that if I don't do it first thing in the morning it tends to slip away from me, because then my day as started and things that 'I have to do' keep popping up. If you don't currently have a time set aside to reading the Bible and praying I encourage you to start one and just see how God works in you life. You don't have to start off doing an hour a day, try doing 30 mins at first. I don't really think that it is the amount of time that matters, but the fact that you are doing it. When it starts to become a habit the time will increase on its own. Make time for God in your life!
