I have lived in Florida for almost three years and this was the first year I have seen the fireworks here. I started off the evening with a BBQ at Rob's house, followed by some Guitar Hero, and then the fireworks. It was great being able to hang out with friends, making memories. It was hilarious, as we were waiting for the show, Haley (Rob's daughter) started dancing..... 'like a Rock Star'. This conversation followed.
Haley: "Vicki dance with me!"
Vicki: "Haley, I don't dance"
Haley: "Yes YOU do!!!!"
(You see occasionally I babysit her and her brother and I have been known to let loose)
Vicki: "Haley, what I do at the house isn't exactly something I do in public!"
She still wanted me to dance but kind of left it at that. The fireworks were great, I even went to the ones downtown the following night with another group of friends.
